Pastor Micah Stumme

Pastor Micah Stumme is St. David’s new pastor (starting in October, 2016).  He was born in Ohio, but grew up in Iowa.  After graduating from Wartburg College (Waverly, Iowa), he and his wife, Jane, served as lay missionaries in Japan for nearly 3 years.  Upon returning, Pastor Micah got his M.Div. from Luther Seminary (St. Paul, MN), while Jane got her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Minnesota.  Previously, Pastor Micah led a congregation in Queens for 16 years, while Jane has worked as the Program Director of Travelers Aid International at JFK Airport.  They have two children – a son, Isaac (16) and a daughter, Emma (10); a “school year son” -  Boris (16 – from Gabon); and two dogs – a golden doodle (Sally) and a long-haired miniature dachshund (Buster).
